Formatting & Referencing Services

Are formatting requirements and referencing conventions haunting your research dreams? I’m here to help!

I have formatted PhD theses, journal articles, textbooks, and monographs to institutional and publishing requirements.

I have also helped students and authors format their in-text references and bibliographies in line with academic referencing styles (e.g. APA, Chicago), journal referencing requirements, and publisher specific referencing requirements.

formatting - £25/hour

Depending on your needs, I check any and all of the following:

  • Adherence with university, journal, and publisher’s formatting requirements (incl. font, text spacing, margins, page numbering, page order)

  • Heading hierarchies (incl. consistency in heading conventions, accuracy in numbering/lettering of headings)

  • Labels, titles, and subtitles of tables, images, graphs, appendices

  • Table of content accuracy (if a table of content has not yet been generated, I will do so)

referencing - £25/hour

Depending on your needs, I check any and all of the following:

  • Adherence with in-text referencing conventions (reference placement and formatting, quotation and punctuation conventions)

  • Match between in-text citations references listed in the bibliography

  • Accuracy of bibliography entries (spelling, punctuation, year of publication etc.)

  • Bibliography formatting (ordering, indents, font, text spacing etc.)
